Hi, has anybody that has an Ibiza fr noticed both front tyers wearing on the inside ?. The suspension has not been modified in any way. It also runs in a straight line with out pulling to one side, and the tyers are at the correct pressure. Any ideas ?.

Yep, it does it on my Cupra, i've had it tracked several times, tried different tyres, even tried swapping the fronts over at 10K.

given up now, it must have a pre-set camber on the front.

It'll be fooked bushes matey, have them checked, as mine went after only 15k miles, but people noticed them at 8k miles. so get them checked (front lower control arm bushes.)

Thanks for that Triple D, its in for a service Monday.

They can take a look then, as well as the service, pink callipers (should be red) and the climate control that doesn't like warm/moist weather.

Yep, my first set of tyres were dead at about 18K, even though the middle and outer edges still had at least 4-5mm.[:@]

You having it serviced at Listers then matey? bet thats gonna sting you a tad  had my brakes and fluids changed on saturday inc labour cost £105 from a company that i use in coventry. Dam sight cheaper than Listers, and also had my 20k service there aswell, which only cost £90 inc parts and labour which imho is a bargain.

I've probably just upset someone with that one:whistle: so i'll say sorry now.

They did the 30K service including brake fluid, then offered to do the front pads and disks for another 300.........:-o

Needless to say i'll get them done when they need doing.

Waiting to here what there gonna do with my pink callipers, they said they have sent photos to SEAT UK for discussion............. still waiting.

bushes checked and a good 4 wheel alignment needed me thinks, most places only check and change the toe settings, 4 wheel alingment can't sort all sorts of probs out, uneven wear, ofset steering, pulling to one side etc.. it help on my FR anyways:)

SEAT said it was normal on mine as well but when i took it to a specialist they said the don't have the apperatus to check it properly either, also when they did do mine they told me that all the "cambers bolts" (think thats right )were left loose by SEAT, but best bet is to see ow it goes matey

My front tyres are wearing low on the inside and only done 16K, need to get a new set and tracking this weekend. From reading this it seems to be a common issue
