The bulbs certainly look the same as your kit, Guy. The box is very similar too and the tech specs and voltages on the ballasts look identical too. How are you finding yours?

Even the grommets that push into the hole you drill in the cover and the wiring for the power connections are the same.
If the instructions tell you to drill a 23mm hole in the cover then looks like we have the same kit.

To say I'm pleased is an understatement.
The output is great and very white (I settled for 6000k)
I can see a tiny pause between switching on and the lights working but it's a fraction of a second at the most.

Took me about 50 mins to fit.
Placing the ballasts was the worst bit as a Mk4 ibiza TDi has a very crowded engine bay.
I used heavy duty velcro to fix the ballasts as I didn't want to drill the car.
Once fitted I drove round to my mates workshop. He's an MOT inspector and checked the alignment for me.

The only other thing I did was fit a pair of these to upgrade the high beam and still have "instant on" if I need to flash my lights.

I've rarely used high beam as the HID's are proving to be so good.

Guy.

Only thing those kits don't seem to have is a Battery power lead. This is a lead and relay that allow you to power the ballests off the Main Battery rather that pull all the power through the existing headlight wires.

Saying this though i am sure that a car as Modern as a Leon Wouldn't need this lead. I only used it on my Supra as it was a safer option.........

Relay and power from the battery is generally used on cars with complicated ECUs to get round the canbus voltage pulse to the headlamps. This pulse causes HIDs to flicker as the ballasts are quite sensitive. Not really anything to do with current draw as its less on HIDs than it is with normal bulbs.

Any one heard of HID Lighting, they were atthe autosport show and had bi-xenons for £125, would be good for the Elise. just a bit concerned that they may only last a cople of weeks or something.

Give me a min and I'll check the courier website for an update. It's the most painfully slow website I've ever used though, so bear with me while my blood boils for a min.....
