Thought I'd mention this, given the current interest in HID kits. This was posted on another forum I visit (TalkAudio) so all credit to the poster who found them.

I've just ordered a set so fingers crossed the quality and fitment is good! Worked out at around £65 including postage to the UK :)

(edit) You can change the currency on the lower right hand side of the page :)

One thing to watch out for when ordering things for the states is getting stung for tax. I've found that I often find myself with a bill for 17.5% of the value, plus an additional handling fee - which obviously pushes the price up a bit.

To be honest, even if I get charged a bit on delivery, they are still half the price of any other kit I've seen. Plus I noticed the name 'Hella' on the ballasts, which must be a good thing :)

They are ordered and paid for, so in theory will be with me in the next week or so. I'll fit them straight away and see what I think. I'll post back with my opinions if anybody is interested :)

Consider it done then. Have no idea when they will arrive, but as soon as they do I'll fit them and report back :)

Looking at the pictures, this is the same/similar kit i have fitted to My old Supra and to my dads Volvo V70.

I cannot find the retailer that i bought them from for about £100 but I will say that if RobM's do turn up, then i shall be straight there to buy some at that price. They are made in China and the branding on them varies from month to month, however, they work. The come with all the bits you need and look/work as you would expect and HID's, cold start up takes a few seconds but i think this is the case with most of these kits.

Fantastic! Let's hope they are the same kit then. I can live with a short delay at startup, that's no big deal, I'm more concerned about them lasting a long time and giving the light I want :)

I had an email to say they are on there way, so they are in the hands of the courier company now :)

Nice find and a damned good price.

Can't help thinking that apart from the brackets and the stickers on the ballasts they look almost exactly like the ones I recently bought and fitted.
Cost me £71.23 including P+P.

Kit as delivered.

The bulbs certainly look the same as your kit, Guy. The box is very similar too and the tech specs and voltages on the ballasts look identical too. How are you finding yours?
