thinkin of lowerein my lcr by about 20mm.wat are the best make??seen eibach ones but they are 30mm at back and 40 at front!!

Just springs on OEM dampers?

Eibach should be fine but you need uprated dampers IMO otherwise you'll scrape everywhere, uprated dampers help reduce nose dive etc and therefore less scraping.

Splitters are cheap but under trays and sumps are not

The suspension setup for the LCR is different to the normal Leon, by more than just ride height. So it should be the amount it lowers the LCR specifically.

An Eibach prokit will normally drop a car by around 30mm, on the LCr i'd expect it to be around 20mm as they are slightly lower than the standard Cupra. What kind of mileage is your car on?

spoke to eibach about htis directly when I was looking for springs for my LC - they said that LCR owners complained that the LCR springs were not lowering by more than 15-20mm, and that the LC sceanrio would probably be the same. This is because they had based their lowness on std leon springs - even if the LCR springs are unique.

Anyway, on my LC, they only lowered it about 20mm, even though it said 35mm

thought they did cause they list lcr fitment with some of the std range, so in thoery they should lower approx 15mm as LCR springs are 15mm lower ?

An LCR is half golf/half TT mongrel isn't it? The golf range will obviously have allsorts in its range so 35mm on that would apply to the std ride height, non sport models, as for the TT I don't know.

You can check the part numbers on eibach's site and see what other cars huse that part number

I did a small thread on LCR suspension here, although it concentrates on coilovers etc
