sid - whats your opinion in the bulb touching the diffuser?

wel i am pretty happy with this result so far.

Chemical Al- is 1mm really going to make that much difference? I'm hoping not.

Turborev's- could you measure the length of the supplied HID H7 bulb for me?

i have the hids4u ultimate kit with the short bulb and it touches the diffuser.

right, just spoke to hids4u and they have sent the standard H7R bulb to me when they should of sent me the short H7R

H7R is is not a short bulb, its just a different type of H7

no, i measured a hid bulb out of a HIDS4U ultimate kit (a H7R bulb)

I have spoke to them and i need a "H7R short" bulb

the bulb you had from HID 4 u is 50mm
the ones we do is 44mm on standard h7, so cant see a problem with our kits no need for shorter bulb

yep and if you go for HIDS4U ultimate git you need the "H7R Short" bulb NOT just the H7R as this is NOT short

okay just 1 thing i would think about if the shorter bulb from hid4u is only 3mm shorter will it be okay or still too big?

I've decided to bite the bullet, and will shortly be putting my order into Turborevs for the T5 H7 kit. I'll let you know how fitting goes etc, and if successful, i'll post pics too.

Unfortionately he's out of stock at the moment, but should be getting the kit in at the end of next week, so i'll have to wait a bit. Fingers crossed it will be worth it!

Looks great, remember they are 8000K now - they'll be a lot blue-er than the 6000K ones.

Assuming they're legal (minefield, don't go there ) I wonder if 8000k is too bright from a practical point of view.
Even if the lights are adjusted properly will they still dazzle on-coming drivers and get me attention from the boys in blue?

I've sent a message to the seller asking after 6000k.
Will post about the answer if/when I receive it.
