Find out if the cambelt has been done, if not I would recommend doing it ASAP. That is a really good price though.

Its just had its 60k service, not sure whether a cam belt is included though?
glad to hear about the price!!

Get it tweaked and it should compete with 328's etc

If you do have to get the cambelt done budget around £250-300 to get it done, unless of course you do it yourself.

Also make sure you get the water pump changed at the same time for a metal impellor version instead on the original plastic impellor version as these eventually crumble and fail.

Sweet, any other tips for me?
What about this theory of a de-cat pipe causing internal engine damage??

As for tips, do some searches in the Mk3 area.

One tip for you though is don't ask any questions about fitting a loud dump valve as they have been asked before, do a search instead.

LOL!!!!! That is the least of my worries, if anything I want the bastid to be less noisey! Street sleeper, hehe, the majority of people over here dont know what a cupra is never mind seein one, the less noises whines an humms off the engine gives less away ;)

Hey mate no need to go across the water for Revo as triple 7 in cookstown is a revo dealer.
But not really not much point if it's already been mapped.

The Cupra R sold in limited numbers, something like 200 produced of which only 75 came to the UK. I think they have a plate on the dash somewhere with the limited edition number on it.

Some pics here
