Hello again , thought id checkin to the forum again; used to own a Mk1 seat cupra R maybe 10 years ago , well ive just ended up with another , same colour aswell , i must be absolutely bonkers,

ive got plenty to do with this one , its looking very sorry for itself and im hoping the engine holds out for me , once its done im hoping to use it for some open track days

just curious how many Mk1 CupraR owners are left here

I also owned one around 10 years ago and have now sold my motorbike. So the search begins for another mk1 LCR!

Well my project has had much time and money just looking at my list its had...

Interior stripped and dried out
All leaks plugged and sealed
new door lock mechs all round
Stop lamp switch
New brakes all round stripped and rebuilt&
handbrake cables
anti roll bar bushes
full serivce with flush new pickup&oil pressure sensor, new plugs and coolant.
3" stainless sports cat
new coilover springs
4 new tyres

Happy to report it has recently passed an MOT and is now on the road;

Im just intend pottering around in her just keekeep an eye on things , before i spend some more money

Next up paint i think the roof is terrible so need that needs doing first

Good choice on the MK1 they are an addiction that many have and I still see a few of them on track days.
