But that's like saying a LCR has little torque before the turbo kicks in, and it's only got 2**lbs/ft afterwards. VTEC is as important to the CTR as the turbo is to the LCR.

Yes it is.. but your turbo doesn't take 5,500 RPM to kick in.. lol..

I was merely stating the fgures cause a lot of people seem to think it's got 145 lb/ft striaght out and that's no the case..

I've got an LCR 225 and the missus used to have a CTR. When I got my c0ck out it was definitely larger than her's.
