Sie, are you staying APR or are you going to try CC/Jabbasport?

Its surely better getting it re-remapped than fiddling around with a boost controller and the likes to get it mapped properly and extract the best from it?

Will look into that further down the line i think. Well i can only really do 1 day all in as time of works limited (unless these guys work weekends?)

Calling you back isnt a jabba sport thing, JBS, BBT and TD never bothered to phone me back either, waiting on a call from awesome tho about the nuespeed manifold.

Would like to get the jabba remap and controller but not if when i want to add dahlback mani etc and want it tweaking i have to pay another £400

I hear APR/awesome are looking at a new code for this/similar turbos?

If they are, that'll be on the back of looking at Sie's turbo - he did run it in September (day after he picked it up from them). Dean's face was a picture when he looked at Sie's figures :D

probably get fed up & tell you where to go.... it'll be a lot of work for them to do - and they've turned people away before with abnormal requests.

No he seemed quite happy to do the mapping for us:) Remapping a hybrid K04 will be easy enough for jabbasport. Its just i knew they wouldnt phone back as i have dealt with jabba a lot of times before! Even asking for IHI pricing and book in dates and he never phoned back. I was 99% going IHI, i had the turbo, had the manifold ordered along with DP and was just waiting for a book in date from them via a phone call! The phone call never came and in that time i managed to change my mind!
Im sure they are very busy, but they do have a secretary that can phone customers and a simple price quote for labour time isnt a lot to ask for:)

I do want jabba to map as i do believe they are the best in the business, you just need to keep on top of them and chase otherwise you'll get no-where;)

It is feel, i didnt want to say tho just in case sie didnt want it public.
I will give them a buzz. The whole IHI price baffles me as they wouldnt give me a price but when i asked for it online they sent it out

They wouldn't have said anything to you if they wanted it keeping quiet.

I'm surprised though - it doesn't really fit their business model.

It might be worth having a word with Revo if APR are suggesting they might do something ;)

Thats true, but what sie thinks and they think may have been different
I asked them about stage three when i was going eliminator and that still hasnt been done so i think id rather go custom, and have it set up, as i know jabba really only do what revo and sps does but they know what there doing

Just to clear up some confusion before people get the wrong idea!

Jim from awesome is interested for himself maybe as a kit for Awesome. APR do not do custom mapping as has been argued before!

IMHO there is not much more to be had out of a custom remap 10bhp max (the size of the turbine side is still the limiting factor) but smoothing it out my be nice!

All i can say so far is that Jim has took logs of my car and sent them to APR to look at for their opinion!

When were you going Eliminator? Was that before or after you were going IHI? I lose track :bleh:

I'm sure Revo have Stage 3 for the Eliminators now.

The car was never going ihi, that was mitchy. The long term plan was to go for the garret and when i heard about this i phoned around to get prices on IHI, JBS etc as a comparison.

Last time i spoke to BBT (and thats when i was waiting fior a delivery date to get the garret) they were sending off a mk4 gti to have stg 3 done but up until 2 weeks ago it still hadent been done
