Hello ladies and gentlemen.

I'm new to this modern car ownership thing. It's nice to ave a car that doesn't require constant upkeep... yet.

So in brief, I'm Matt. I'm workshop manager of a cycle shop in Skipton and recently went back to burning the black stuff. I got fed up of the octavia I had breaking down so plumped for a car I've liked for a long time. Custard yellow leon FR tdi 170. best decision I've ever made!

Currently waiting on a set of team dynamics pro race 1.2's through demon tweeks and trying to find a good garage to fit some eibach pro springs and do the alignment with them. reports on progress when its all done.

Erm, brief car history.
Mk4 golf tdi 115. lasted ok. Gave it to a friend in need when I got

Mk4 golf Gti T, modded a bit but some prat smashed into the side of me and wrote it off.

Skoda octavia elegance 1.8t 4x4. the less said the better. scrapped after 4 weeks due to a strong hatred for it.

Thanks for the welcome chaps! I'm enjoying the car a lot! It's so nice to drive. I'm looking into a DPF delete over the summer. There's so much useful information on here.

Woah, two months have passed and not a lot of change! haha


Since then it has had wind deflectors as they are almost vital!
Team dynamics pro race 1.2 wrapped in falken fk453
bilstein b4's and eibach pro springs
a new caliper
rear wiper delete

I'll update with pictures once I've reached the allowed level of posts

However, it doesn't seem to have lowered much if at all. Maybe the springs will settle in... Or maybe coilovers will happen.
