Afternoon all and what a lovely day

was on the motorway earlier for about 50 miles. pulled off and up to lights

the yellow EML light came on - could it be CAT or O2 sensor more likely?

car is running fine. it's a 300 estate which has stage one chip plus the Racingline R600 air intake system with silicone hose.

i dud take the oil filler cap off to top off and wondering if some air has got in and triggered the air monitoring system?

same as this: https://progressiveparts.com/produc...take-system-for-2-0t-190ps-models-vwr12g7r602

thanks

plugged in the OBD II reader and its come up with Air Intake system leak

could that be the R intake pipe? or maybe a sensor?

which bits do you mean? the intake pipe from the air box and into the turbo? did check all around it and nothing feels loose

the only thing I have done different is top the car up with half a litre and then the problem came about 40 miles later.

wondering if maybe the dipstick needs to be replaced and oil cap maybe? car is 17 plate and 100k miles.

I mean all the intake connections from the airbox up to the turbo elbow. Any oil in or on the turbo elbow, or intake hose? Any other error codes?

i switched the oil cap around and seems to be fine after a drive.

I noticed a bit of oil residue on the brake cylinder so maybe it was not on properly. will keep updated.
