I've bought the tt bushes, still waiting to fit those, Upper/Lower strut and ARB (when it arrives!!!)

I was advised to get them from few people:)

Stiffer bushes are stiff so won't move so much. All these to is transmit all the movement to the weakest part of your system.
Rubber bushes absorb some of the vibration/movement.
Rubber lasts longer and is less likely to split

So by the TT bushes, you mean the std tt coupe bushes? Are they direct replacement on LC? and LCR? Or just the LCR.
Having come from TT ownership and forum, everybody on there was changing their std setup for the Defcon bushes, which emulated the original TT bushes before safety enhancements!
I am in process of fitting LCR springs and dampers to my LC, understand from people that i can then upgrade to LCR/R32 anti roll bar with new droplinks?

So do i need Different lower arms to fit TT bushes? On my LC!! Confusion, confusion:confused:

The TT bushes are the MK1 TT Roadster ones.
You don't need the LCR wishbones to fit the TT bushes, these fit into your LC wishbones.
Yes you can fit the LCR/R32 ARB and you will need drop links too

I'm thinking of going for poly, probably Powerflex but I've heard of people fitting Audi TT Roadster bushes. Just interested in peoples thoughts.

i checked up on the TT bushes and there are hundreds so i was baffled by that, im sticking to powerflex poly bushes i think.
The tt wishbone bushings are about 25 each, you must be thinking of the tt roadster subframe bushings, completely different, these are around the 100 mark.

Anyone tried the TT bushes?
Yep, have them fitted, made a nice difference to the car.

The TT roadster wishbone bushings are the same as the standard TT and also same as the S3 and cupra R. A bushing with a solid rubber core instead of one with voids which is standard in the leon cupra.
Like these...

These are TT roadster subframe bushings.

I have all of the above fitted to my cupra and they tightened the front up a huge amount, much nicer to drive :)

i got the TT roadster bushes through the other day, and spent all morning/day fitting them (£100 quote for labour no thank you), and it turned out that the bushes were too small...after a few flung tools and broken boxes iv decided not to do the rear bushes now. just going for the front ones and i hope to god they are the right size...

Where did you get these TT bushes from?

If it was from Audi then you have been given the wrong ones.
If it wasn't from Audi then that was a bit silly

Do you have a picture of these bushes?
Are you sure he gave you the rear ones and not the front ones?

its the rear axle bushes, that right? iv got them sitting in my boot, il have to upload a pic when i get home. the bushes look like they have been done before recently so i should be alright with them still in.

AAAHHHH!!!!
The rear axle on the TT is very different to ours as these are 4WD
It's the subframe rear bushes from the TT roadster that are an upgrade to ours

the bushes i got looked very similar to the ones that were already on the back end of my car, they were just smaller, so wouldnt fit in well...
