Not to sure if im bringing up an Old thread.. i only been looking at the pictures.

I have a Question and i might have to get Awesome to Answer it....

The new little drop links (little S sahpe with yellow Bushes) are these replaceable as i am guesing this will wear out unlike the Jabba unit

feel bad for resurrecting this old post, but fantastic guide and pics :D

definately be buying one of these very soon, wasn't sure how much "specialist" work would be required for this, but think i can handle it. Just need to part with the cash now.

Myself and my father managed it with a set of car ramps. It didn't take long maybe 3 hours but that was myself and my father taking our time and making sure everything's 100% correct *My dads a perfectionist*

Right, just got this badboy fitted....however.....not really too impressed with the owd 'U' bolt system, seems once its tight, the polybushes have deformed and also bent the 'U' bolts themselves?

Is this normal??

I was only using a small ratchet, and it just kept on tightening with the weight of my arm, hardly any force, wasnt going to just leave it loose.

The "U" attachments don't have any force to contend with really. They are just keeping the ARB in line with the rear beam. The droplinks are the ones you need to make sure are a good tight fit! They are better than the attachments for the Jabba rear ARB though....

Got ya, i was just a little bit concerned at the bends in the U as a result of tightening things sufficiently!

But alls good!

Is it? Im annoyed at the fitting instructions just say 'tighten all bolts' not....'leave loose to allow movement or you'll bend all the fittings'

Grr
