Dont really have the money if im honest mate, cos how much is it for the diff + fitting kit? Would love to go for it, gonna wait a few months till i get the clutch done so will see but xmas etc is coming too :( boooooo

lol not sure about payment tbh, just let me know when you get it sent down and ill let my boss know. Might just have to phone up and do it over the phone or something. Just see nearer the time, should be around the 100 quid mark, boss's son said :)

Is that all you need for 840 quid? Or did you have to buy other bits too for it to?

If it was just the 840 then not too much fitting cost ontop of fitting clutch and flywheel could probs manage to save up for that.

Will do the manifold if mine ever has to come off like.

How come the ina ones don't fit properly? Does the flange against the head not sit flush to the head or something?

£840 got me the diff and bolts mate then add £30 for diff oil i got some stuff off opie oils on here very fast delivery!

I dunno mate i felt a huge difference when i put it on but its just caused me nothing but problems, i think i have actually lost a manifold stud :| just want rid of it, would you be interested in it if i took it off and it was in good nick? Im talking pennies for it bud

so 840 plus the oil and then it was just having it fitted? Hmmmmm will have to have a serious think haha does the crown wheel fit off the standard one then, or did you need another one for the quaife?

I might be depending on price but just dont get why they seem to not fit well. If its the flanges not been straight etc i could get them faced etc just dunno if thats the case?

Yeah £840 plus whatever the oil will cost you and yes you will need a new crown wheel for the Quaife (around £300) so your better off going with wavetrac or pelequin, i think they are around the same price! I bought 3l of Fuchs titan race SYN5 75W-90 diff oil but i still have 1l left!

Im talking like £40 plus postage which will probably be about £10 courier the manifold itself fits fine my mate never had to grind anything off it ive just had bad luck with it i think.

Very tempted with that mate, just let me know when it's off :) you got a spare rear engine mount laying about at all too? Can't remember if it was you I sold my old standard one to, to upgrade the bush?

Hmm very expensive then. Peloquin seem reasonable from what I've seen. Might need to fire them an email if I decide to go ahead. Won't be awhile yet mind!

Did you fit new exhaust gaskets etc with the mani?

Nice ride mate!
Can't believe how much you've spent in such a short time. :worship:

Had a 1.5 turbo Colt CZT and the clutch/flywheel started making a worrying groaning noise a few months after i'd had it remapped with a K&N and Forge Split-R (recirc only mode). It had only upped power from 147bhp to 189bhp. Luckily got rid for an RX8 before owt major happened.

I've just got my hands on a 2007 Cupra 20VT and thinking bout engine mods, gonna keep it simple to start, not sure bout reliability with huge power and have house and bills to pay for.

Cheers mate :) haha its been like a real life Gran Turismo situation, pretty much running out of cash from the sale of my old white one though so its gonna slow down abit :( payrise this month though, so we shall see haha

These thins stay pretty reliable with tuning it seems. Clutch in mine is still fine too, just doing 4k rpm launches on the way back from my gf's in a row doesnt help it

No house and bills for me, all gets wasted on the car and general crap :D may aswell whilst i still can haha

You going to get a readers ride up?

just spraying the centers and the outside of the discs in black hammerite so once in use they dont look minging and rusty like discs normally do!

Hopefully should be braking allot quicker once they are all on! Just need to get hold on some new bleed nipple covers as mine are all perished etc

Was hoping the clutch would be here by now and need to arrange picking up the flywheel soon the get lightened.

Yeah, i aint a full member as yet as not long joined. I need to post some pics to photobucket or summat to be able to post em on here so will sort that out too. Might help if i take some shots of the car first though :D

They fitted new disks and pads on front before i picked it up and that was a week ago, they already started rusting and look ****. Will have to give this a go when i need new.
It wont contaminate the pads then???
