One of my front wiper blades is on its way out, just wondering which are the correct ones to purchase to replace my current ones?

Could you just tell me the brand and model or just paste me a link on here directly to them please?

I would always recommend the original ones but the Bosch A350S ones that come as pair for the front are good aswell.

Order a twin pair of Bosch, may as well replace both at the same time.
Just out of curiosity what brand are the originals ?

eBay about £20 got a pair the other month imo they are better than valeo one's.

I did read somewhere, I think that the original one's are valeo maybe someone will confirm of deny that.

Valeo are the OEM blades.

The ECP ones might be made by Valeo, but have the pack with a set of universal fittings.

I normally just get them from TPS or the dealer - look at the forum sponsors too. I think that you get a discount with them via this site.

I've used Bosch before and I was never that impressed with their longevity for the price. They were OK, but unless they're cheap I doubt I'd bother again.

I used the Vista cheap ones from Eurocarparts for a few years and just changed them every year and went to Bosch a few times and they didn't really last any longer. Currently running Valeo and they seem alright.

Valeo are OEM and I think they're the best. Bosch work ok but don't last long. Champion have gone right down hill and the blades are crap now. Valeo work well and last for ages. Happy with them.

I know that VW well for 6C Polo used FM for the front ones and it looks like Valeo for the rear one.

FM are Federal Mogul and just an umbrella company that grabbed lots of small brands, I have a feeling that Champion might have been one of them, and maybe now even Trico which could be an annoying fate for what was a good supplier of wiper rubbers/blades.

Typically there are aftermarket or even OEM brands that supply specific kits where there has emerged enough demand, the Bosch ones that I bought from ECP for my wife's 2015 Polo was a specific application version, ie just fit and no nasty adaptors to sort of make them almost kit and maybe work.

I'm nearly at 2 years old (not me personally) and the OEM blades still clean like new.

Yeah, they last for ages. Much longer than Bosch or Champion, I don't know about other brands as I've not tried them.

Seriously?

I have Heyner blades and also had them on a previous car. Great quality and good value. https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00DY5DRXK/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_inactive_ship_o1_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Heyner blades on Mrs Seriously's ST also. Impressed with how quiet they are. They also gave me a laugh reading the reviews on Amazon, particularly this one:

This is by far the worse item I’ve broke off amazon! Fixing them is difficult and then the red wiper slides off easily. Do not buy!

The "red wiper" is part of the packaging and is a protective cover fitted to stop the blade getting damaged before use.....
