just be careful what 'custom' actually means.
for example, a generic map thats adjustable (eg revo using a sps) could be considered by some to be 'custom'.
If you plug a lap top in using vagcom or similair, take the car for a spin to see what your best settings are, timing boost etc... this is viewed by many as just setting up the map correctly, others may consider this as 'custom'.
One tuner may adjust any number of things, while another may only adjust 1 or 2...
personally i would have thought that a rolling road, or the ability to monitor and set up on the move is the minimum requirement to actually have a 'custom' code.
