Hi All,
I'm sure this has been asked before but searching didn't bring anything useful up.
My car's due its yearly service soon and I'm going to do it myself but I can't seem to find the engine code anywhere in the bay to make sure I'm getting the right parts.
The car is a 2001 Leon 1.6 16V S
Edit: Where's the best place to buy a oil and an oil filter from? I've used Eurocarparts before and been fairly impressed with their service.
I'm going to change the brake fluid while I'm working on it as it doesn't seem to have been done on any of the car's previous services for some reason.
Is it worth upgrading to braided hoses (while I'm checking the brake pads) or am I unlikely to notice any difference?
Anything else I should be checking/replacing while I'm at it?
Thanks for any advice!
