I personally would like to change my career to that of Poverty's. Unless of course it's selling your body to other men, i'd rather walk to work than drive if that's the case!

haha I dont do anything special, I just happen to live at home. Can earn stupid money in the winter but that requires doing stupid hours, working everyday etc. Ive got 5 days off currently, as im burnt out, and even though im meant to be on leave, I did work from 4pm to 9pm last night as the company was desperate for extra labour!

What he said!!

Not that there's anything wrong with manlove per-se, it's just a serious lifestyle choice for a normal bloke...

Aah. Thar you go. I could swap my morgage for a Ferrari and have change so all is explained.

Of course, living in a Ferrari would present certain issues. Where would you keep your pants? (Socks go in the glovebox obviously)

Must say Pov I am with you on the 2.5 quattro front. Fortunately when the time comes to wave goodbye to the k1, the RS3 should be available and then let the games begin. While I love the TTRS (seen you on the TT forum btw) I'm not sure it will be worth the premium over the RS3.

The TT-RS is too expensive for what it is and the options you get as standard. I wont be buying a TT-RS as new, as you can already see that on their first year the car will loose about 10k of its value, and I dont fancy that being me.

475hp on the standard turbo, and faster than a stock 997 Turbo, oh yes [B)]

I see VW have released the Golf R. £30k base price which means £37k on the road. That is a stupid ammount of money!! You'd have to be a blinkered Golf fanatic to part cash with one - at least from new...
Aparently not that much fun to drive either.

Safe to assume the Golf R won't be on the list??

No, its got no chance, its too slow, or for better words not fast enough. You should see some of the blinkers of the golfgti forum. They still believe that its more than just a redressed audi s3, and that it will have superior interior quality

Isn't that just golf drivers all around... delusional

*ducks*
:p

haha yeah, some of them think that their cars are gonna be collectables in the future, and that the GTI has heritage and therefore is better than equivelant audi and seat models. Infact some of them have gone so far to take the OEM alloys off their car, store them in the loft to keep them in pristine condition, in the view that they might be worth alot of money in the future.

How sad and geeky is that! Just drive the bloody thing

Hmm,
I think the above is modest, since a TTRS would cost better part of £50k after you fit wheels, nav, interior, windows etc...

I'd say that appears to be an excellent value package!

As opposed to the TTRS which comfortably sits four adults.... ;)

I know, I know. I sat in the back of the TT when my old man was test driving some audi's and the only way I would fit was to have my head bent forwards.

Thing with the TT is though that, if I do need to carry extra passengers I can, and it doesnt really matter to me if they are comfortable or not. Plus, women are shorter than men, so they should be alright in the back ;)

My plan is to remove the rear seat bases and get some slimmer bases made up to give more headroom.

Assume you're not referring the the silly money TTRS

How much does the turbo conversion for the 3.2 cost? Good for over 400bhp i believe..?
