As we don't know why you want a gearbox can't really help with specifics. I would think some boxes and ratios would be suitable.

i think what chris is trying to get through is "are they different ratios" from his cupra box

sorry should of been more specific, i think the syncros have gone it is a stuggle to get it in 5th, and i have had major wines in 1st for months so thought instead of paying for someone to split the box and find out what is wrong and order the parts and put it back together i would get a recon box and straight swap it. less labour and less pennys?!
