Decided to reroute some cables for the dashcam and various chargers, went through the dash as there's plenty of space behind the little storage compartment. What a nightmare to remove that, only held in with 4 small clips but it does not budge.

Enough as I was filling up, the guy in front had a Karoq and I could see his fuel cap hanging down. From a distance it looked to be the same setup as ours, I was tempted to go and speak to him... but chickened out in the end.

I suppose that makes me a bad person

No, it's from a Skoda specialist. It's for the manual (Says not for DSG) but perfectly fits the DSG straight out of the box with same fittings. I'd seen others who bought it for their DSG Leon so it wasn't a risk.

Only reason its 'not for DSG' is that normally the DSG pedal is wider.

Inreality a manual dead pedal will fit a DSG car, but a DSG dead pedal wouldn't work for a manual car.

As it happens I'm getting a custom light up one for mine. I could get the larger DSG version of that, but I prefer the narrower manual one I have at the moment. Give me more room between the brake pedal and dead pedal if I needed to stretch my leg out fully on a long drive.
