After having a scratch repaired down the drivers side door, there was some holograms left from the buffing..
So instead of letting them having a go again, got my DA out and polished the whole car. Also had to repair swirls inflicted by a ‘rated’ car wash place..
Incredibly pleased with the results and products used. Process went as below;
- Pre-rinse and bug/tar remover and wheels sprayed with cleaner
- One foam shower
- Rinse and second foam shower
- Rinse and then two bucket, woollen mitt wash with AG shampoo and conditioner
- Rinse, dry and windows/trim sorted
- Once over with Auto Finesse Triple Polish (using DA)
- Once over with Poor Boys Black hole glaze (using DA)
- Wax - Poor Boys Black Hole (using DA)
I realise the Auto Finesse is not considered a real polish. But does have a cutting material. Enough so that an hour with a DA got rid of all marring/swirls and holograms.
Poor boys glaze was to get that wet look, and the wax really made it look like a puddle.
Highly rate all of those products on a black car!
