Does it make any difference to sound etc?
Seems fairly easy to fit?

Reporting back as promised as today was the first chance I've had to drive it. Definitely sounds a little better, bit more meaty although its not a massive change like you would get from a cone filter.

Also, I find this engine quite laggy (does anyone else?) but its a bit better on pickup now I reckon. Overall I'm happy with the £30 it cost me.

Next up: paint my calipers red, wrap my front lip and the chrome grille black then a stage 1 remap :D

Be careful with the washer jets. My eBay specials didn't fit.

I've just changed some bulbs to LED and done some coding.
Indicator bulbs didn't work though so got some chrome normal ones for that.

Planning on taking the red lens from inside the rear fog so that the entire back lower light is clear

I'll let you know if my scabiness paid off - I'm so tight haha

Beautiful. Surprised you weren’t tempted to paint the spoiler black?
Cheers! Yes I was very tempted to go black with it but swerved at the last minute and played it safe. I thought it might look a bit too aftermarket if I painted it black?

Had the Seat styling kit fitted this week (rear bumper, spoiler and side skirts)
Kept original exhaust because, well £500, and actually like the original look.
FY15 plate.

Black always looks better in real life not sure these pics do it justice ! I am chuffed though, sits lower and has more aggresive look without being OTT.

Also had steering wheel swapped for newer fy18, feels nicer and more premium.

Should stop me buying a new car for a couple of years

Rear bumper looks great. Do you mind me asking how much the rear plastic diffuser unit cost? I’m assuming it’s from Seat themselves and fits onto the existing bumper?

Think it would look nice mate, but then perhaps you’d have to tint the rear windows more too and as you say that’ll look aftermarket.

@Oddmanout do the fan washer jets provide the mist spray like the MK2, rather than the streams? I much preferred the mist on my MK2. Let me know if they fit, I'd definitely swap them out.

I've received a few bits but I won't have time to fit them before I fly off on holiday on Saturday unfortunately.

Carista - want to activate one click mirrors, needle sweep, beep on lock/unlock
LED reversing bulb
Fan washer jets
Bonnet struts
Caliper paint
Vinyl wrap for front lip, badges and chrome grille surround

Hopefully I'll have time next weekend when I get home!

I want that beep on unlock/lock, I miss it so much from my old Cupra :( is it possible to just take it into the dealers and get them to add it on without having to buy Carista or similar apps?

I don't know mate, but where are you in the country? If you're close to me I'm happy to do it for you (assuming it doesn't lock to one car when you connect it?). I'm near Bristol/Bath/NE Somerset.
