I had a stone hit the front windscreen on the A14 yesterday, its developed into a nice large crack. Anyone had experience of Auto glass replacing the windscreen and recalibrating the Assistance Camera?
Well try Autoglass assuming it's part of their standard replacemnet ie FOC and if it fails then go to a dealer?
What do you need to recalibrate, rain sensor? ACC is located in the front. I've replaced my windsheild and no recalibration needed.
Its the lane assistance / high beam assistance camera that need recalibrating. Just trying to figure out if its scaremongering or something that truly needs to be done.

Got covered in stone chips as Bromsgrove/Redditch council seem to think chucking a kitty load of gravel constitutes a new road surface

Stuck some red vinyl on the wheels, looks very smart in person but doubt they'll last the beating of brake dust and road grime.
