Hi guys,

I picked up my new LCR Sunday but yesterday when driving it got up to temp (90 DEG) but then all of a sudden ot fell back to the pin

It was as if someone had just unplugged the guage/sensor.... then all of a sudden off it went back to 90 deg.

Anyine had same problem??

I know the sensor for water temp is not the best but never changed it on my old LCR - Where is it and what do I swap ot for?

Any help appreciated guys ;)

I had a similar issue with the temp gauge on my leon cupra, one day it just stopped working completely and the engine ran rough from cold.

Then out of the blue i started it one day and all was well, runs fine and the temp gauge has worked perfectly since, very odd. But while it`s working i`m happy. Hope you figure out what your problem is.

its deffinatly the guage i think not the coolant...it's just has cambelt/waterpump change so more than likely related to that.

prob is prev owner sorted the service in Cheshunt and I dont feel like a 2 hr trek back to have it looked into lol
