The pins just make it more secure by holding the light in the correct mounting position. The screw inside the boot is the main fixing point though. Don't over tighten the screw either, because this can cause the light lense to crack.

That's the main seal with the cable through it... Yours looks on place (mine was out completely)

There also the 2 small grommets on the side where the light curves round. The 2 locators on the light push into those ( mine also had a grommet missing )

If all those are in place, then I'd say it must be leaking somewhere else.

Then ran a hose at the bottom of boot where the rubber is an it soaked in to the car so do I need new rubber

Sounds like the seal is bad alright. Does it look bad, like any splits, cracks or chunks missing?

The green arrows is around the light area inside the boot & Its dripping down there also but the red arrows is the boot seal where its dripping in to aswell so I'm thinking ALL the problems Are coming from the boot seal???

Looks that way. Hopefully the new seal will do the job, fingers crossed.

Have this now lots of water in boot, removed both rear lights i have no idea where the water is coming in.
Used talcum powder around boot to try find the leak
