A yellow warning lamp has just appeared in the instrument cluster of our 2013 Leon Mk3 1.4 SE Technology. The warning light is showing continuously. (not flashing)
The lamp shows a yellow outline of an engine block and the user manual (looks more orange to me though) states that this shows a "Fault in the emission control system".
The car is driving perfectly normal with no unusual emissions from the exhaust.
The car is due and booked with my dealership for a minor 3rd year service next week.
I have read that this might be down to a faulty or loose oxygen sensor and that the fact that it is not flashing is good in that it only indicates a minor fault.
Has anyone else experienced this or can anyone advise me as what I should do in the short term?.
