Cold Air Intake

Can I just ask, if you point the air intake out the front grill, is it possible to have problems with rain water being taken in?

I mean, travelling down the motorway in pouring rain / large amounts of spray. Its not going do any favours.

I appreciate that the intake travels up to the top right corner of the engine bay but given the force of rain water entering at say, 100mph, along with the air filter sucking away, the water will be drawn straight in, will it not?

dont forget the water would have to be sucked through the filter if it did even get that far, which i doubt very much it would! ;)
