You sure? if you leave them on.. they will be on all the time = flat battery thats how it was with the MK2 anyway.

Auto is the position it needed to be in so the lights would come on when unlocking.

Hi
Another one to add to adjust the electronic differential lock

1 ) select 03 ABS Brakes
2) enter security code 40168
3) Select Extended electronic differential lock from drop down
4) Default is Standard (Golf GTI 7 and Cupra MK2 had this set to Strong)

Enjoy

ESC menu options:
Select 03 ABS Brakes -> 07 Coding -> Long Coding -> Choice 29 byte (last byte)

HEX Values:
05 — ESC ON/ASR OFF/ESC OFF
06 — ESC ON/ESC Sport/ESC OFF

Complete switch off ESC :)

Anybody managed to de-activate auto stop/start

At the moment on the FR loan car I have everytime you turn the ignition off it turns the system back on... this is annoying

How did you get this working? VCDS version 12.12.2 don't even have that Extended electronic diffirential lock option, same thing with 14.2 Beta. We installed old 12.12.0 and then you find this option and it accept security code but when you try to change value, it gives error; security access needed and don't save changes. Any idea what could help?

..and answer to that. Install old 12.12.0 (cannot do with newer ones) and security code 20103. Now I have also XDS in strong :)
