Been searching through past threads trying to find a definitive answer to this, but still can't make a decision.
Basically the standard clutch is slipping on my car now. 70k miles, but could be the original. Was set for buying the AwesomeGTI heavy duty one with solid flywheel, but i can get the standard parts at a very good price.
So i've been offered the standard LUK clutch kit at a very good price, which going by posts on here should be more than enough for me at the minute. Just not sure whether to go for the LUK dmf, or the Valeo solid conversion? I'm not too bothered about chattering at idle etc, its more from a reliability point of view i'm asking.
The car at the minute is Revo Stage 1(Linear Throttle), B5 v2 TIP and Milltek cat back, and in the long term will be Stage 2 with FMIC and downpipe and decat.
Cheers
