thats what i thought as i was looking at them (kw) on display yeaterday.

Have you had any problems with yours?

No none at all! Im very happy with them! Only had them fitted last weekend though!

Are you talking about the spring seats or just in general?

just in general mate i think the main difference is that the metal work on the weitec's is galvanised and that the kw's is s/steel, i think, but he spring seats looked the same to me,

ive just cut the bit a plastic out that rubs in the arch when on full lock

any one have any probs with it slightly rubing the top out side metal arch bit?

nope mine only rubbed on the liner until i cut it about,

my only solution would be to raise it up a bit on the front as your collies have probably settled since you set the height on fitting them

tim ,can you get a pic of the gap between the top of the arch and the top fo your tyre please, i just want to see what yours is like

i have standard cupra (non standard for my 1.4), and have coilies. will get a pic up later today for you :).

my rears scuff when i turn hard around roundabouts but i do have 20mm spacers on.

i have the same prob on my cupra weitec hicon gtn and 8x17 compo's all round i jus thought it was the 8s up front but they eventually wore away but had 2 tap the wing lip back a touch.

i've got plenty of room, i can get my fingers between the top of the tyre and the arch and still plenty of room even on full lock (got pics if you want) it must be because your on 17's and too low, if there is such a thing!!:lol:

i just went out to take a few pics of my car.. which my pc is throwing a hissy fit so i cant get them to upload.

i can get my index finger in the gap between the arch and tyre at the front (around 15mm gap).
and at the back well its low enough there is around a 4mm gap so i cant get my finger in there.

god i ant got that much of a gap on mine, the top of my tyre is level with the top of the arch

may have to raise mine up abit 10mm
