Tuning on a 1.8 tsi Leon

I was wondering if a stage 1 tune is worth it the extra 40 horse power it brings on top of the 180 I already have? The car is at 130K kilometers and I’m not sure how appropriate it is to tune it at its current mileage. The car has been very well maintained and currently has no issues tho. Any recommendations?

The 1.8 is only linked to weaker gearboxes - so although the engine can be tunned for much more power - your transmission is the limiting factor.

Hi, I have 1.8 TSi 6M tunned to 238PS/343NM. With DSG gearbox you are little bit limited. Max torque is about 280-300NM I think...

Mines had Apr tune on it for 4 years and it's been flawless manual box. 252hp 375nm tuned on high octane map for momentum 99
