Try the softest setting like the good people said before. I always said the stiffest and thickest arb doesn't translate to the best setup.

Sure you will crack it.

Also.remember you diff will be giving you greater front end traction.
As long as you know how the cars going to handle you just account for it.
With R888's my car is well planted.

This is where the diff sometimes can catch you out. When you commit and the diff is dragging you round the corner, if you ever so slightly let off the back end can come out. Suppose this is because of the level of grip and speed you can take a corner. This is extreme circumstance but I had a brown moment on a roundabout once and that exactly happened. Diff kicked in, everything controlled and safe, go to change direction and the rear end goes mental.

They are not cheap - think V2s are £700-800 and v3s are £1100-1200. You could go for fixed V1s that are pretty good also.

Do you not find the rear loose then?

My local track is Knockhill, I have lost it BIG TIME at the end of the start finish straight/top of Duffus. This was a tail out afair.
I was running R888's on the front and GYE F1 Asymmetrics on the rear so I had expected it.
But TBH my car is VERY neutral now, its more prone to 4 wheel drifting than over steer or understeer. This obviously depends on the corner shape, camber and how its attacked.
I have R888's with -1.6 degrees front and -1.2 at the rear with KWV3 coilovers with 20mm drop. 23mm front ARB and 28mm rear ARB on the stiffest setting.
The problem with a neutral set up is when it goes it goes BIG TIME.
The front end geometry in the LCR is different to your LC.

Looking forward to getting the Leon out at Lydden in May as I now never seem to drive the car in anger as always have the family with me

Getting to the point of thinking is it worth keeping it just for track

It's well worth keeping.
You know this car well, if you bought something else you could be taking on unseen problems

Thing is there is a few more things I would like to do to it but cant put more money into a car that only gets used now and again
And it seems silly having a car just sitting in the garage doing nothing
