Nice work on the boot mate, really looks tidy now

Hiding the wires looks like a must, im still in 2 minds where to mount my gauges with/without centre console

Looks awesome as always bud. I'm currently doing the same to me clio, just picked up some buckets tonight :)

Before you buy a gopro look at AEE S70 cheaper than gopro with a better spec and much easier to use with an app for your phone to control it :).

390880708150 eBay link ;) I'll be buying one soon

Some small updates...

Purchased a new MAF as mine was faulty and picked up a ECS Race N75 to try out...

IMG_5678_zps657be2ab.jpg

Had a guest car in the unit while I was fitting these :p....

IMG_5677_zpscff9db2b.jpg

Summer night blast...

IMG_5389_zpsb86d6897.jpg

IMG_5388_zps49bd41f1.jpg

Decided to give the inside of the Cupra some subtle touches...

Been meaning to do this for ages. Some carbon wrapping :)

Pretty happy how they turned out since it was my first ever attempt at doing this :D

Also purchased a new wing to start gathering all the parts I need to repair that side...

Got some new additions for the engine bay :)

Pooped round to my mates powdercoating business...

IMG_5819_zps830627b8.jpg

Been meaning to get these done for a while now, so off them came to match the charge pipe

IMG_5814_zpsf80f2746.jpg

And 40mins later :p...

IMG_5818_zps758c8148.jpg

Ordered 2.0TFSI coilpacks and genuine OEM Touareg adaptor plates...

IMG_5982_zpsbde27284.jpg

IMG_5989_zps501f45d0.jpg

The plates need modifying though to fit with our 1.8t rocker covers.

So out came the dremal to make the plate flush.

A comparison of the finished plate compared to the untouched one...

IMG_5991_zpsc9856ea7.jpg

Now that's done, its time to fit them! ;)

Before...

IMG_5992_zps4e934f9f.jpg

Adapter plates fitted all nice and snug...

IMG_5993_zps3d7e8fde.jpg

Coilpacks in...

Also forgot I bought a 2.0TFSI harness wiring cover, so thought I would fit that too.

Had to strip all the wires from the insulation tape to allow flexibility for the cover...

IMG_5995_zps9322d2ce.jpg

Finished article... A lot tidier and more pleasing on the eye! :D

Well hello there... It's been a loooong time since I last updated this

My laptop has been broke and playing up for months, so could never be bothered trying to get on the internet to post up. But now I am :D

In all fairness I havent done much to the car since then, just general maintenance and going to some car shows.

So I'll fire away with a selectuion of photos to keep you upto date :)

Headed down to Edition38 for the weekend, had a blast.

IMG_6096_zpse98ddc49.jpg

Got some rolling shots on the way back home...

IMG_6388_zpsade33cfc.jpg

My mate took a video of me coming out from the M6 Toll Booth too :p

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwwTmgJ0YTI

Hit a couple other shows in Scotland...

IMG_6397_zps89f07272.jpg

IMG_6392_zpsf271568d.jpg

Noticed one of my breather pipes had split so sorted that...

Car was running pretty crap and hesitating like mad, so replaced my lambda sesnsor as thats what was throwing up the fault...

IMG_6611_zps15347584.jpg

Turns out it wasnt that after all but my fuel pump had packed in.
So I bought a new sytec pump and fitted that. Was like night and day. Best my car has ever felt :D
So took it down to get rolling roaded to see how healthy it was and what it was kicking out...

IMG_6923_zpsd4faf2c5.jpg

IMG_6921_zps161ed2b9.jpg

Pretty happy with the power, as like I said it's the best it's ever felt... Pulls well! :)

Clocked the 130k mark about a month back

IMG_6896_zpsd0ac1f8d.jpg

Standard oil change and service photo ...

IMG_7128_zps7266c780.jpg

Got my mate to video me doing some fly bys to see what it sounded like...

https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10154883125790511&l=6417157117212110496

It was rather wet, so was wheel spinning everywhere. Had to feather the accelaration... You still get the general idea from the video ;)

That's pretty much you all up to date now.

I've started saving up and collecting parts for the Ibiza's makeover for next year, so I'm looking forward to getting stuck in about it and going for the different look!

Some parts have already arrived...

IMG_7409_zps5f0ce5a7.jpg

IMG_7414_zps3607aad6.jpg

And tonight I decided to tart up my helmet with stickers and a sunstrip :p

Looks like youve been having loads of fun whilst your laptop has been out of action :)

Im guessing a new front bumper from the shape...

Helmet looks good so far

Updates looking good mate. Glad your still enjoying it, sure I'd be enjoying mine if I still had it.

What's the next plan for it? Tidy up the accident damage by the looks of it?

Oh good idea using the m6 toll going round is awful road surface :(

Yeah mate, they are deffo fun cars. Dont think I'll be getting bored anytime soon :)

Yeah, the damage will be getting sorted. Going to custom make the rear bumper have a diffuser, different rear spoiler and get canards for the front and possibly make an areo splitter. More track inspired and to look slighlty different from all the other Cupra's. Planning on doing a fair amount of more track days next year, so want it too look the part as well as function correctly :D

Always use the Toll road when I can heading down south. Makes for good braps!

Sounds good.

I've ordered a big splitter and canards for me clio :)

I still have my Ibiza splitter(the big one) but doesn't fit the clio so had to buy another one
