I put some new wheels on the Mk2 today, now its knocking going around corners.
Would i be correct in guessing the top mounts are knackered again? Anything else it could be?

Oh great, could be a whole host of things then! I reckon she's got the hump because we have a Mk 4 now as well! I'll give her a clean tomorrow maybe she'll start behaving herself again!

I've had her for 6 years now and she's never missed a beat, never failed an MOT. I've either got a good one or its all gonna go badly wrong in one hit!!

said many times when it comes to a mk2 - 'always have one thing wrong with it at all times, because if you don't you soon will have :)'

I've had a squeaky clutch pedal for a few months now, so if i dont bother fixing that nothing else will go wrong then?! ;)

Pedal box definately not cracked  There is some movement in it when the clutch is pressed down though so i'm guessing it will go at some point. There is however a massive amount of play in the top mounts so i'll be changing them very soon, also checked the wheel bearings, they had a small amount of play but nothing worth worrying about.
