wouled a tip make much diference to the power you would get from a stage 1 map would it give much more bhp/torque

nicer sound from turbo when spool up.stock tip can colaps.looks 10 tims better well worth it.since the leon tip is prone to fail.one of the best upgrades to do.you gone love the sound

THS hoses are very good, alot of them have wire reinforcement embedded in them which none of the others have, I bought a set of 210/225 THS upper boost hoses which have the wire reinforcement in them and they feel awesome, very stiff! The wires stop near the ends so the ends are still flexible for fitting to pipes and using clamps.

My Forge hoses are WAY soft compared to the THS ones.

That’s coming from a man that’s tried every silicone hose manufacturer too! I suppose you don’t know if you don’t try! Is that the right link Rob?

Indeed yes, those were the first THS hoses I've tried and I am impressed with them, the wire-wound reinforcing makes them very stiff, you can't squeeze them in with both hands, they hardly move, whereas the Forge will squash right in.

"The hoses are made with a 4 ply design and has a metal reinforced coil within the layers of silicone to stop the hose from becoming distorted or expanding under high boost conditions. Other similar hoses do not come with the reinforced metal coil."

I've nothing against Forge but for boost and turbo hoses the THS are better!

It wouldn't give you power but it might stop you from losing a bit at the top end when lifting off and re-accelerating

Very good to know tho as i've just looked on the site and its a whole lot cheaper than forge

gota say im glad i asked now as i was in two minds if to go for the forge one but as this one is less than half the price and as good as if not better as people have stated it is metal reinforced and 4 ply not as soft as the forge then i think im going to go for this one! thanks for everybodys input and feedback.

maybe the THS hose will be the new mod for a TIP

As said, nothing wrong with Forge at all, but the THS hoses are alot better than people think, the wire-wound ones are very stiff with no chance of collapse or expanding under remapped boost pressures.

Another downside to Forge hoses are that they are not very glossy, the outer skin doesn't seem very good quality at all compared to the likes of Samco, SFS, Viper, etc..

Tempted to pick one up to replace my standard one.

Seems like a great price but is this going to be one of those "If it seems too good to be true it probably is" moments.

They have good Feeback so seem genuine but I dont want to waste my money if it turns out to be a poor replica of the Samco one's

So anyone bought one before or had dealings with them??

just put and exra 40 quid towards it and get a forge one its been tryed tested and have a life time guarantee

TBH I didnt realise the forge one was only £40 dearer I'd been qouted nearly £100 more for the Samco one so was looking for a second hand/cheaper option.

If it's not that much more then I will deffinitley get the Forge.

i emailed them and got my black one for £66 delivered! which i think is a good saving and a good price for what you are getting. the forge were 130 on the website so quite some difference..
