Sorry if it's been asked but at work so no time to read through every post.

I have a stage 1 remapped lcr. I had no TIP at the time of the map. If I added a 3" one now will the car adjust to it or do i need the map adjusting for full potential?

I saw dyno charts where the guys at r--tech changed only the TIP to a badger5 one and the hp went from 250 to 270 without touching the map. As long as the map is requesting more boost and it's the TIP that's not able to provide it, it should instantly add hp. I'm no tuner but had a chat with Nicky at r--tech and that's how I understand it

I saw the dyno run printouts with my owns eyes. Buy one. I'm selling my 160 quid forge to buy a 135 quid badger5....

turbo cavitation

been told off a tuner that these are a very good piece of kit for the cupra r although would be better to go with a custom map due to turbo cavitation can be a issue on generic maps . just one more thing to add to the mix ehh

what's the benefit of going v2.2 instead of v3?

I currently have a Forge TIP fitted.

Will I still see benefits with my green cone air filter? or do the stated gains include switch of air filter?

cheers!

Phone bill at badger5. The v2.2 is slightly modified so you can use a catch can or meth injection or something. He recommended the cheaper one for me so is an honest guy... As soon as I stuck on the badger5 there was a really noticeable power increase. Sell the forge. I'm using a RamAir filter and it goes like sh*t off a shovel! My front tyres need replacing soon....

will I still be restricted due to having no aftermarket CAI? I've just got the standard feed going to a green cone filter (with heatshield)

No but you should buy a feed off of eBay. I didn't have my feed on when I got mine mapped because my friend broke it the day before and Nicky at r--tech just said to get one when I get a chance. I think cold air feeds are a lot more important at low speeds, when you're doing 50 the engine bay will be full of cold-ish air. A proper cold air feed would be a good idea tho
