Wow someone who doesn't pass the buck.. Most folk would have tried to blame the van for appearing randomly in the road in front you and made up some lame excuse about van not having lights on.

I almost smashed into a car last night too at a roundabout.. it was driving with only sidelights on (theres the excuse :D ) so no wonder I never saw it.. but still would have been classed as my fault and I did feel like it was my fault at the time. Makes me realise how lucky I was to have missed him it must be gutting to lose your motor. Hope things get sorted out for you as best as possible.

sorry to hear about yoru accident mate, atleast you where able to walk away from it, as it sounds like it could have been a lot worse. no accident no matter how big or small always manages to hit the same spot!!

hope they can get your car fixed. if it is a right off, are you going to get another ibiza or move onto something else?

Oh dear, So fastest TDi Mk4 ( on the road) title is back up for grabs, and in all honesty Span you did'nt like the wheels on it anyway.

Good to see you are ok, and just to make you feel a little bit better Focus RS's can be picked up for £11k, so no excuse for not getting one now.

Insurance company has been called, and i must say they have been great, they asked if i had a garage that i wanted the car to go to, but they said it could go to there one which is allan ford in northampton. I said ok as its a main dealer they should be ok. Found out where the car is from the police, so going shortly to see my poorly baby :( then just wait i suppose :( and hope that they dont write it off

TBH the police didnt really seem that bothered, they took my statement verbally, and as nobody was injured, both vehicles were off the road and not causing any obstructions, they left at the same time as me. The van carried on there journey down to london as they got the ok from the police.

Hope all gets sorted for you quickly, as I know whats its like to be without ya brum for awhile! As noted takes a man to admit fault, so good on ya for that one... Hope it can be repaired, but maybe u'd prefer it not to be? As you said you where going to change soon?

Someone has to start, so erm can I have your turbo if its up for sale? :D

No, i am not gonna take the risk with it after my misfortune mate. I feel bad enough as it is, without aselling you that and yours going pop shortly after.

If the car does get written off, i may try and buy it back and salavge the stuff.

Got some pictures now anyways so will upload them shortly.
