Have ordered an new adapter, will hopefully have it before the weekend.
Also got around to turn down EGR with vagcom today. Altered channel 3 value from the stock 32xxx to the highest possible, 33638 was it?
MAF readings at idle went up to 446mg and the egr cycle down to 4.8% (about 50% at stock!).
Less smoke under load for sure, even felt a tad more responsive, but that could very well be my imagination though!
Read somewhere it might not pass emission test at MOT with this setting, but I don't even know the different classes- EU4, EU5 etc..

Finally got the much needed adapter last night, filled it up with 2.6 bar all the way around, feels much better now.! Made myself a kit including an zip-lock bag, the adapter and the needed allen key! Stays in the car!
Also need to clean my cupra recaros, leather + textile, any tips?

Recieved 50m of red leds today, making footwell light.
Was thinking both front and rear, but have no clue of power. Might need an seperate loom, but that kinda messes with my idea to hook them onto the interior lights dimmer... hmmm.
Also ordered some cernium oxide, will have a go at polishing out the scrathes made from the rear wiper..!

gave it a good wash today, just to find some mysterious contamination spread out across the bonnet and the wings. Wouldn't have had a clue, except the farmer who drove by with an tractor and trailer. I'm betting some acidic grass flew off..!

Inspecteded the paint on the car today...
Turns out, theres quite a few stains and particles, probably stuck inside the clear coat. Upon further inspection I also found grinding stripes and stone chips just sprayed over.. This was on the bonnet though, haven't had time to check the wings and bumper. The frontwas resprayed last summer.
I'm defo going back to the paint shop, hopefully to work out an solution that works for us both.. I'm thinking an "cheap" full body respray..

After way too many worries, and calls without results, I drove the extra 320 km and paid £47 just to pass MOT.. lets just say that the Norwegian Public Roads Administration ain't the easiest bunch to talk to.
Glad everything is okay now, so wanted to have a new go at tinting my rears!
Thought I'd rather give the blank bits a few layers first, so there would be relatively fewer coats in all, over the driving lights..
Initially thought 2 or 3 coats would do, but ended up with 6.
^^ I messed up the sixth and final coat on the right one, so had to start over..!

Yes I admit I should redo the "S". Maybe gloss next time??
The next two pics are taken in direct sunlight.
Dusk pictures. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out!
Almost forgot indicator shot. Need to change back to an amber bulb now, instead of yellow!

Not sure about that, as it would be a super method of attracting unwanted attention..!
Been thinking about an sunstrip though, but the windshield is badly cracked and chipped, so would be better to get a new one first..!
