LOL! no bother! but in all seriousness! if thats even a word. the 150 is a much better car than the 110's. but as is the problem with it being a second hand car, u'll have to do alot of luking to find one with all the extras u want, coz it is very expensive to by the extra's after.
I no ive been lukin for white dials, centre arm rest. the seat dealers over ere are chargin an arm n a leg from them.

is that northern irish you are typing?

I own a 150bhp toledo sport its silver and 2004 model.

had it at AI autosports last sat on the rollers it made 206bhp and 307ftlbs torque.

It has: torquetronix remap, Volkswagen racing turbo, Helix upgraded clutch and full straight through Miltek exhaust system. It goes like a scalded cat and i love it.
Had it since september and stumbled accross it in a car dealership in coleraine N.I. Interior isn't great although the seats are very firm and comfortable all usual extras including 6 disc cd changer. it just has standard alloys not lowered....yet! and next possible mod will be an upgrade to 230bhp.

It could comfortably reach 220 bhp without have to further modify any parts but to get 230 i may have to replace with a better front mounted intercooler. This can be done during a live mapping only and if i go ahead with it it will be Torquetronix ballymena doing to nessessary. Any further questions?????

With these modifications you will be able to see an easy 220+ BHP, give JOE at Chippedire.com a call, he is localish to you and is probably one of the best tuners out there in the U.K for stage 2 TDI Cars. You will get awesome smooth power with much less smoke then some not so well mapped Stage 1 TDI's

I have one and I love it - got the climate control, tracking control, 6 cd etc. Boot is massive - fits 3 dead bodies, but can be tricky getting them through the opening. Like the others said the lack of back wiper is a little annoying and the boot is a little high so watch out for those midgets walking behind u ;)

It's quick as hell, only mods I will do is new alloys and a remap to 190 or 200 bhp. Might get it lowered too. I wasn't looking for a toledo in particular when I was buying it I was looking more for a hot hatch and I liked the Leon, but I went for this and I am really glad I did. Mileage is great if I drive sensibly, Took it from South Wales to Manchester and back for 45 bucks last week - and that's with £1.08 a litre!

There are only 2 showing on the approved used car section at SEAT dealers so looking very rare indeed.

Both Grey 54 plate cars, 1 49k £7495, the other 27K £7795.

Closest one to you is in Hampshire.:(

Hi,

Sounds like the car I bought, metallic grey, 49K, 54 plate, near Southampton - Hampshire.

They go like a dream, I've had it a year put 25000 miles on it and have had no problems whatsoever. Bloody economical as well. 52 miles a gallon.

Would like to get it remapped to get more horsepower though. I've yet to read through the rest of the posts but if someone could recommended anyone to do that - preferably local (Hampshire), I would appreciate it.

Mine has leather steering wheel, but not elsewhere, no cruise control. Maybe there was another edition (SE?) with these.

I've got a 150 and am thinking of adding cruise control (it doesn't come as standard).

All you need is to be able to access the VAGCOM software to change a setting and fit the extra kit which amounts to a replacement indicator stalk. The car is already fitted out with the extra kit because its throttle-by-wire anyway.

Here's a link for the part approx £75 I think.

Leyland,Lancashire.
I own a Lhd Toledo Tdi 150 Sport 2001 model and all i can say im well happy with it. It has the 6 speed box, lower suspension, Fr style seats, 6 disc changer but no cruise.Wheels are standard 16's with 205/55's. Mine also has side skirts and boot spoiler but think these were after fits!
Have to say it goes like s*!t of a shovel and mid range acceleration is phenominal. Have seen off bigger engined petrol "sports" cars no problem. Sixth gear is a boon with 70mph@1800rpm and 95mph@ just 2500rpm. I get roughly 50-52mpg average though on a recent trip to scotland i got 800 miles off a (vented) tank. I also pay the same road tax as i did on my rover 214 due to low emissions tax bracket (146gms/km).

This is the one to go for. Enough said.:D

I also have one, an '04, had it a year now. Was going to buy a Leon but what with the Toledo having 80k less on the clock and costing a thousand pounds less it was a no brainer.
52 to the gallon on average and my commute's over snake pass, when I go down south away from the hills the fuel consumption improves considerably.
Only problem has been that brake light switch but the handy guide on this site sorted that out.
I couldn't reccomend a car more highly, an absolute bargain as long as you're not concerned with criss cross grilles, badges and fancy alloys.

Looking for a TDI 150 sport at the moment, have had a v5 (170) in the past ,-worst thing i ever did selling it...hoping for simalarish performance but with much better economy, have noticed on this thread some saying sport has a 6 cd changer like the v5,is this controlled from the single slot Aura headunit? as on the v5 it was contrlled from the sat nav?
Will miss the sat nav as in the v5 but did get a bit fed up having to buy new discs for it so i suppose the trusty Tom Tom will have to do :(

Has anyone driven or compared these 2 cars ?

Mines a PD150...love it. Doesn't have 6 disc changer nor cruise control however.
Mines mapped, lowered and got RS6 wheels. Also had new 6 paddle clutch put in, might go for extra power in future but its a weapon as it as...also bit of a sleeper as not many know it...

Get one you won't regret!

i have a 2004 130bhp 1.9tdi toledo SE.. equipped with front fogs, sport alloys, 6speed, cruise control, white dials, central arm rest, traction control, heated and folding door mirrors, and anti glare interior mirror. the cupra style seats with adjustable height and length and same with the steering wheel. 6 disc cd changer.
thats about all i can think of. great car had it for 1year and 5 months, got it with 32K on it..now 54K.. intend to get it remapped. brilliant car and quick. pretty dam well equipped i thot
i hear the 130bhp are meant to be as sharp as the 150bhp. 110bhp are very common. would definately recommend going for the 130 or 150 option :D
