Is the voice activation phone dependant? I'm using a Samsung G800 and if I try a voice dial it says phone book empty. It pulls all my number off the phone to the dash though so its reading it OK!

Is it maybe because all my numbers are stored on the sim?

The voice activation is not phone dependant. Of that I am certain...

What I'm not certain about because my Nokia N95 didn't work with the BT module properly, but I think the phonebook which is uploaded to the car is seperate to the voice dialling phonebook...

Just a quick query.....When using a phone in SAP mode, does the car kit use an external aerial, or the phones own internal aerial?

Phone. I didn't think SAP was implemented.

Well I tried copying everything to my phone memory and using it. It still picks up the numbers in the car but won't work with voice activation.. Still just says the phone book is empty!

Edit: Figured it out.. I was being stupid! Didn't realise I had to set up each of the voice activated numbers seperately!
