I thought I'd do my local garage a favour by drumming up some new business by saying.... my car feels bloody fantastic at the moment

It's driving better than ever, feels faster than ever, is putting the power down superbly well and it's generally feeling spot on.

It's sounding fantastic too! Ever since I fitted the new air intake pipe (just a short section mind you) to the air box to go along with the Forge TIP, it's sounding gorgeous. The exhaust has a nice burble to it too

So there you go... since we always have threads about problems or concerns, I thought I'd start one where we can all say how great our cars are

Sorry... I meant drum up some business by jinxing my car and making all sorts of things go wrong, by saying how wonderful it is

I am really happy with mine at the moment too. I have recently cured the irritating hesitation prob, got full VAG-COM and changed chirps, alarm tone etc and confirmed no fault codes.

As you said Lee, it does make all the money worth it when all goes well......

mie was fantastic until i decided to get the cam belt changed on tuesday. now i have pedal vibration heaven and more rattles (although im sure it feels quicker...)

Mine has been the source of seemingly endless financial strife since Xmas, but now,things are running great - it's serviced, mot'd (twice), reinsured, and running well... now (well, next month anyway) I get to to throw more money at it - this time on the fun stuff

i think the most jinxed thing that can happen to me is that my suspension dosent turn up tomorrow

My car has consistantly been fault-free. Some paint coming off on the right side wing mirror and door handle (methinks previous owner had a sneaky respray after an accident) but aside from that, every time I drive it I can't stop smiling.

well i was nearly jinxed

suspension wasnt in stock so i ended up with golf (which is exactly the same)

i snapped the nut that my wiper arms go onto

im getting cruise control fitted... and to do this the guy needs to remove my scuttle panel... ive just bought a new part that replaces the bit ive snapped, so the cruise control guy is going to fit the new part when puting it back together.. sorted
