Hi all,

Just got back from Monster Sport Europe, Milton Keynes, where i had my car treated with Terraclean.

For those who don't know, Terraclean is an internal engine decarbonizing system fairly new to the UK market first seen on Wheeler Dealers.

Let me start by saying why i decided to try the system out on my Cupra R.

I've now covered 84000 miles and was due for a service, after the service i noticed a massive increase in power and performance mainly due to the plugs being in a bit of a mess, colour was good but the contact points were almost worn out, how easy is it to neglect the smallest part that is perhaps the most vital. With that in mind i wanted to see if i could get my car to run smoother especially on idle and thinking about how close to a fail i was on the last MOT with the emissions being to high, also looking at the cost of changing parts like sensors and possibly a remap so i looked for an alternative.

Straight to the point now, i saw Terraclean on tv, did a load of research and thought what have i got to lose other than a few quid if it doesn't do anything.

On the way i gave my car a workout on and off the M1, took the car in to Monster Sport and was greated by Nicky Finlayson who was the tech that would plug in the system and talk me through what was happening stage by stage, great guy with years of motorsport racing behind him which gave me confidence that he knew his stuff.

We had a chat and a coffee during the proccess, i paid and left within the hour, fast, honest and very informative service from a top bloke.

Now for the drive home, i noticed straight away how smooth the idle was and as i pressed the right pedal felt an immediate difference, so much more responsive and when i pushed the car through 2nd up into 3rd then 4th i was amazed how fast the revs climbed and how much more pull the engine had, i couldn't stop smiling.

On the M1 back to Houghton i did the mpg check and found i'm returning an extra 4mpg over the reading on the way up both ways holding a steady sixty, back off the M1 gave me another chance to watch the revs climb clean and smooth and feel the power that has returned to my car.

Bottom line is that i spent £84 as i chose the larger cans for extra cleaning and so far every penny was well worth spending and highly recommend Terraclean to everyone out there, go to Monster Sport Europe for fantastic service, IT REALLY DOES WORK.

ps. not sure if i you can give out details for Monster Sport Europe as not sure about advertizing on here so just google them.

The garage round the corner has been badgering me to have this done when I get my service done. I thought they were just trying the hard sell and wasn't sold on it. But saw it on Wheeler Dealers. The Mrs had it done on here 1.3cdti cords but didn't seem to make much difference.

From what i gather it all depends on mileage and engine size, maybe performance related cars feel more benefit, i guess time will tell and for now all i can say is it worked on my car.

I think it will take off as more people try it out, as for the cost i think it's value for money and works out at about 8 to 10 off the shelf treatments over a peeiod of time.

I'm an HGV driver working for a welding suppliers, i have driven more vehicles covering more miles in one year than most people do in a lifetime.

I wouldn't mind working for them so i could travel the world and go to all the motorsport events and get paid for it.

In the end i guess it's a choice you will make and i chance you'll take, i'm a happy customer thats all. :D:)
