Looks great Scott, think the white looks the best i have seen. :)

Even the alloys are growing on me, to me they look a lot better close up. I am going to try to hold out for the Performance Pack if i can, will probably go for white too though.

Ta. Yes I think the wheels whilst a lot more bling than the pre facelift look great. The gloss black shows the brake dust though.

Look forward to seeing yours.

Was it a 280 you had before? Does the 300 feel any quicker? It's a reasonable amount extra power and especially torque..

Yes 280. Still not pushing the 300 hard so can't really compare. The press cars felt a bit faster than I remember but been a good few months without the 280 so no back to back.

On paper it is faster of course.

Practically the same but with another 20hp and 20lbft.. People would pay thousands for gains like that on a NA engine. It's a decent chunk more.

My 290 rolled on dyno stock 301 PSI so il say again it's practically marketing, and nothing's different from the engine what so ever a slight difference on torque range for when the turbo kicks in.

I will try and get a map from a 300 if you want and put it against a 280,290

It may be mechanically the same, but as I said the map is obviously different/improved. The 300's will most probably over read too...

I'd love to try one of these with 420hp, I think this goes like stink with 300.

Last car was 510hp XFR which was obviously really quick, I though this would feel weak after it but I'm really quite surprised.

It's really something else getting 2.5+ bar on the turbo. Power to weight ratio is nice as well, as it's relatively fairly light. Had it PROPERLY dyno'd yesterday as well, not a rolling road as the last one was rather up by 12bhp and that's inaccurate.

Power to weight ratio though puts you up against some very powerful cars V12 5L, had a run in with a r8 V10 at 40mph rolling last weekend on a dual carriage way not the sport back though that's like 700bhp, I pulled away from the Audi the whole time to 140 then decided to slow it down

My dyno run is on YouTube if you want to see it. You need speakers to hear it properly though or your phone just makes the same pitch noise the whole way through.

Syphon - I'm wondering if I should go for the same Gtechniq treatment as you did for my ST FR that I will (hopefully) pick up next weekend.

Does it work as paint protection, i.e from scratches, stone chips etc?

Cheers,
Maciek
