As title, fitted std second hand low miles Cupra R suspension to my LC today..And the lower S3 strut brace...Can ye just confirm what was std fit on cupra R ?
1/ Shocks i fitted were Sachs 82 4903 557 981 (fronts) only asking to verify they were R ones....

2/ They have i assume drop link connection hole on base of spring cup (Fronts), but as LC didnt connect this.......Is it just a drop link to std anti roll bar or would i need to change roll bar too?

Many thanks.....Much better car now though as had leaky shock on pax side!!!

Not too sure about the part number of the shock but to fit the ARB to the shocks you'll have to have the LCR ARB, the LC one won't work with these

Id upgrade the arb at the same time to benifit, wouldent bother with 2nd hand, just get 2 X droplinks and an arb from DPM, Also while its try some poly bushes.

Thanks for replies...At moment the std cupra arb goes to lower track arm via crappy plastic mounts....So will have to upgrade to LCR ones!

Whats difference between having ARB connected to shocks as opposed to track arm?

Thanks in advance..

With the ARB connected to the shocks it is more effective and acting on the shocks directly instead of indirectly on the shocks through the wish bones/ hub, hub carrier then the shocks on the LC system.
As above, you cannot just connect the LCR drop links onto your existing ARB, you will have to change this to the LCR type one. This involves dropping the front sub frame
