Question: What kind of music do you listen to mostly?

That should then help you choose your speakers.
For example if its rock type stuff, then go for the likes of infinity's.

But then they aren't the best for Dance music.

Out of the money you have, budget also for as much sound deadening as you can, this stuff really makes a difference.

what difference does it make ? and how / where would you put the stuff?

ive just looked at some infinity ones, i take it that it would be 6.5" speakers i would need. i think i might spend about £80 on the front set, and maybe use the rest of the money for other things. i like all types of music you see, so i need a decent all rounder.
The infinitys i looked at were lovely. think i might get those. with the components though, can you put the tweeter in the bit by the wing mirror? or will it not fit?

Thanks,

Andy.

I used to run infinity components, they had a tendancy for blowing quite easily. With regards to the tweeter it will depend on its size whether it fits behind the wing mirror bit.

With the question about amping the fronts its just like amping any other speaker. When running two amps you can do the following

* Run a another set of RCA's from the head unit
* Buy some distribution blocks to split the power cable to two amps (same with the ground). Just make sure your power cable is the correct gauge
* Remote Wire can be daisy chained from one amp the other
* Run speaker wires from the amp to the speakers
* Set the amp up on a High Pass filter and set the frequency 70-80 as a starting point
