Had my 10mm spacers on now for a week and at normal driving speed the car feels great but when i am on the motorway and take it up to 80 plus the cars feels a bit unsteady....its like there is a vibration or a wobbley feeling to it.

Not really sure what to do, dont know if its becuase the bolts are so long i should maybe swap to 15mm spacers..

Ay idea's anyone ?

are they hubcentric spacers? Have you had a 4 wheel alignment recently? Although the rear isn't adjustable it would let you know if its out!

No mate, to be honest there ebay specials...Just to see how they look to start off with really.

I suppose the obvious solution is dont go to fast but, it feels like i am driving on chevrons.....did think they might be to tight.

Basically they are asking you if the wheel actually sits on an inner ring which is the correct size for the centre bore of your wheel.
Originally the wheel would sit on a lip of this kind, ensuring that it was on straight and lined up.
If they weren't lined up correctly its possible you could be getting this problem as your wheels wouldn't running true.
Same problem people experience when they fit new wheels which don't have the correct centre bore

Do you still need spigot rings on oem wheels?? i.e Ronals or Seat Sport Oz's.

Reason Im asking is I dont have them on the Oz's, tried fitting a set of spigot rings the correct size but it just wouldnt go in. Im guessing the Oz's will be at the correct spigot being off a mk3.

Since Ive put the Oz's on ive checked the bolts very regularly and they arent working there way loose or anything. Ive jacked the car up and rocked the wheel and it doesnt budge at all.

So Im guessing everything is alright.

Think ill do this tomorrow to...will jack it up and see whats going on.

when i put them on they fitted fine, i had to line the bolts up obvisously but nothing jumped out at me as being dangerous.....its just that sensation when i am driving at speed.

Ive did it like 3-4 times in the 2-3 weeks Ive had the Oz's on. Checked the bolts every couple of days/after a long journey. And Ive jacked it up and checked for movement. Once when I fitted the wheels and a few times since I fitted them. Only because I thought my front wheel bearings were knackered.

Check you havent lost a balancing weight from the wheels. I lost one on my old wheels and it makes a difference.
