Hello

I have a 2019 seat Leon Cupra 98k km. When i drive the car and go from side to side with the steering wheel, i feel like its not responding fast as it did when I got it. It have been feeling this way since I got new back tires in the summer. I get no error codes when scanning Nd the mechanic tells me he think it feels fine. But I feel like the respons from my power steering is slower than normal, not much but the car does not turn instantly when i turn hard on they stering wheel. The var does not feel snappy any more. Have any one else had this problem and a fix?

What tyres did it originally have, and what did you replace them with?

What's the state of the front tyres?

I replaced Continental Sport Contacts with Continental All Season Contact 2, and my steering's definitely not as precise or fast as it was, but that's to be expected changing from a summer tyre to all season.

The front tires are also replaced afterwards to new tires but not the same tires, back tires are at bit cheepers than the fronts. Haven't got it aligned after, could that do I? All tires are same size and summertires

Suspension can effect how your steering feels/responds, especially the rear axle.
Are your dampers all good? My rear dampers were shot at 100k miles which made handling/steering loose/slow.

That is also a thing i have been thinking off, it was after it was on a lift, if that could have done anything, how would you diagnose it? The cars also feels like driving a boat, feels like it is swaying when turning fast

Have you tried changing driving modes to see if that makes the symptoms better/worse? The steering response in Cupra mode (or individual depending on your own settings) will make the steering feel and respond different than comfort or eco.

What was done when it was on a lift?
Has it got electronic dampers? Could the connector/wire have been damaged by what ever job was done on the lift?
Does sound like your dampers aren't damping!

The only job was changing the tires. It does have DCC it feels like it not dampening that much, but how can i check that, it feels more stiff when turning to the right then to the left. I don't get any fault with a obd scan

I would get your phone camera under each wheel arch just to check nothing obvious is broken/disconnected from the damper.

Are any of your dampers leaking/misting?

I will take a look at them when I get home :) is it possible to read the setting sent to the DCC with a obd scanner?
