Hi, I have owned various SEAT's for years now but my latest car is a Leon ST 1.8FR, which I purchased just before lockdown, so haven't had chance to have too much fun in it yet! I would like to replace the usual tyre repair kit with a space saver spare wheel but now find there are a myriad of different options when looking on e-bay, etc.!
I have the 17" alloys with 225 45 R17 tyres, so it would seem the general consensus is that I need the 16" T125/70 R16 spare, VW code 1K0601027B, with foam insert etc.
However, there seems to be a number of variants of this code (not sure what the differences are) and I have also read that there may be a different code for the ST version, something to do with being able to use the adjustable boot floor in the lower position still, which does add valuable space?!
So many options I have thought that the best thing to do is to bite the bullet and pay main dealer prices, but thought I'd put it out there for help first in the hope that one of you guys may be able to lift the mist!
Thanks.
