Thanks for sharing that thread, does seem to be mentioning the steering wheel and Telematics as another potential fix which I'll keep in my back pocket if this doesn't work.

Luckily im still in the 60 day warranty, and I also purchased a 2 year autocare warranty which will keep me covered
love to know how it went if you did take it back into the dealership to get fixed especially what they did to rectify it.

They've said i need a new steering wheel and steering wheel clock spring which is causing the SOS and software glitches such as the airbag error, screen popping and travel assist erros. So once the part arrives and its fitted will see what happens

Ah yes sorry I do recall reading that and couldn't remember where. Ah sounds like i brought a 2nd hand lemon and wish I did more home work as it sounds like ill be footing a large bill by the sounds of all that. Im bmvwry happy that you are under warranty though mate. I haven't seen the sos light for a nearly 5 days then just taking it for a spin at light voila, pops followed by sos. Sounds like I got to call up a local seat place to see about getting it fixed.

Well the chief exec of Vag was made to walk the plank for those issues of the early 2020 cars. The managers were taken in that over the air updates replaced good QA you could say. Some issues they couldn't correct over the air. The rest is history. MQB Evo had new system parts and mib3 was written in a different language to mib2. MQB Evo platform had a double dose of teething issues across the Vag group.
