If you remove all the SAI connections most people just leave the electrical connection unplugged as a resistor will still sometimes throw a fault.

That's what I've done - I think it was JIMYU who was testing a few theories a while ago and I think there's some truth in that it only tends to throw an EML if you leave it idling when cold. That's the only time it's thrown one for me, and mine's left unplugged - just wrapped in a bag and sealed with electrical tape so it doesn't get any water ingress.

Did try and look at the guide again that was on the sticky that SIM done but the link's broken...

May just try removing the plug for a while then and see how it goes and if i dont get any problems go ahead and remove the pump and the rest of it fully then...
